All students at Divine Mercy have access to 21st century technology. Each room has a flat panel SMART board. Preschoolers primarily use iPads at learning centers, while students in grades K-6 each have their own Chromebook. Students in grades 5-6 may take their Chromebooks home.
Keyboarding skills are taught in kindergarten through sixth grade. Students in the fifth and sixth grades have a weekly technology class aligned to the Ohio Learning Standards in Technology.
Students also use educational software, such as:
- Freckle
- Google Apps for Education
- IXL
- Renaissance Accelerated Reading program
- Typing.com
- XtraMath
Each student and parents are required to sign our school Acceptable Use and Internet Policy, which is part of the enrollment process.
